Healthy and happy living

Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.

This saying is very much true. We should go to bed to sleep within 9 pm to 11 pm. This would  be the right time to go to bed, keeping awake till late night is very harmful for our health and mind. A sound sleep of 6 to 8 hours is necessary for our body and mind to get charged for the next day's work.

Getting up early in the morning is also equally important, drink at least 2 to 3 glasses of water in empty stomach, go for a walk or do little jogging or free hand exercises which would induce easy bowel movement, avoid having constipation as it the root cause for many diseases. If you are suffering from constipation, do not strain to pass stool forcibly, as it would give rise to problems like bleeding piles and rectum prolapse, instead press both palms or interlock finger of both the hands and rub the palms of both palms while sitting in the toilet.
this would help in easy coming out of the stool.

If the solar plexus is not in order we may feel various problems such as constipation, diarrhoea, loose motions, gastric symptoms, piles, fissures, fistula, ulcers, acidity, headaches, stomachache, sinusitis, tonsillitis, chronic cold and cough, allergies and even more serious problems.

There is no diagnostic technique in modern medicine science to find out whether the solar plexus is in order or not and nor there is any cure for it, though the patient may be suffering from these diseases since years. As such, we have to check and correct it in the traditional way which is shown in the book “Health in your hands” by Dr. Devendra Vora, which is available with different book stalls everywhere, in several languages.

While going for morning walk, take deep breaths so that maximum amount of oxygen is inhaled which prevents and cures several diseases. If one cannot go far a walk for any reason, there are several easy yogic postures and pranayama like Kapal bhati and Anulom Vilom which one can practice at their own home and get the benefits.

Brush your teeth and clean the tongue daily in the morning and before going to bed, so that we can prevent several teeth and throat related problems. Blow through both the nostrils with mild pressure alternatively at least 2 to 3 times daily, this helps in clearing the respiratory channel which is very necessary for our good health. We should always try to breathe through our nose, breathing through the mouth is not good for our health.

Healthy Habits

Never control the calls of the nature, such as the pressure for urine and stool and menstrual flow of ladies.
Always eat light and fresh food with least amount of spices, oils, preservatives, artificial colours. Maintain timings for eating food, drink plenty of water throughout the day, avoid drinking aerated soft drinks and fruit juices prepared from artificial flavour, sweetness and colours.

Avoid taking medicines for minor problems and never take any medicine on your own, without consulting a qualified physician.

Avoid alcoholic drinks, drugs in any form, tobacco chewing, smoking cigarette etc. these items spoil both the money and health. Normally, the persons stop consuming these items after they get serious illness like cancer but then, it is too late for getting any benefit as every thing finishes by that time. Before consuming these things just think of your family and dependents, what will be their plight when something bad happens to you. Instead of spending the hard earned money on these things and ruining your life, purchase things which are useful for you family’s health or save money for future needs.

Avoid friendship and association of persons who are engaged in wrong eating and drinking habits as they would ruin their family and yours too. Do not keep your food exposed in the open because there is risk of getting contaminated.
