Our effort shall be to mention only those natural healing tips which are tried and experienced by people themselves of different areas since generations and found them useful and without and side effect. Some of the natural therapies may aggravate the problem initially, in cases where lot of toxins is accumulated, but later the patients start felling better. If the problem continues or continue to aggravate it is wise to discontinue the treatment and contact the experts in their particular fields.
Homoeopathy
Besides Acupressure I have been practicing Homoeopathy since the last 25 years. Mostly the people have a wrong notion that the Homeopathic treatment takes a very long time to give the cure and as such they take the medicines for very long period of time, specially in case of chronic diseases, but during my practice I have experienced that if we can understand the problem well, only a single or a couple of doses are enough to give relief to the patient. Normally, there is no need of repeating the medicine.
If one or a couple of doses do not give any relief then one should look for some other suitable remedy. If any problem relapses after some time of taking the medicine, or if there is no improvement at all, the patient should visit the physician for further diagnosis and treatment for the problem. In rare case, if the patient feels aggravation and uneasiness after taking the medicine he of she, should not repeat the medicine, instead, they can have a little coffee or may inhale the strong smell of any non toxic food items like onion, garlic, asafoetida or camphor which would immediately nullify the effect of the medicine.
There are many Homeopathic remedies with different potencies but some of them are mentioned here, which I have tried in several cases and found very useful. One single Homeopathic medicine can be used for multiple problems, however I have mentioned only the symptoms for which I have used them widely and found giving complete cure to the patients. Only one type of Homeopathic medicine should be taken at a time after matching the symptoms of the medicine and those of the patient, this would be more effective.
Homeopathic remedies for common illness.
Aconite 200
Fear, fever, sudden onset of problems arising out of shock and fear
Alumina
constipation of infants and children with very dry stool ad the patient has to strain to pass stool and bleeds.
Apis mel 200: Red blotches on skin as in the case of insect and mosquito bites and bee stings. Boils, pain and swelling.
Arnica : This remedy is very much useful after any type of injuries due to fall, blows, post operative conditions, and in conditions like bluish spots on the skin and also internal bleeding and clotting of blood. It works excellently in symptoms arising due to the clotting of blood in the brain, such as coma.
NuxVomica : has given relief to so many patients suffering from acute and chronic diseases. A single dose of this remedy, 5 to 6 globules in 200 potency, on or below the tongue of the patient, has cured several cases of stomach upsets like indigestion, gastritis, diarrhoea, vomiting, constipation, common cold, congestion due to cold, allergies due to food, medicines and other chemicals, headache, fever, piles etc. Several new and old cases of leucorrhea have been treated by just one or two doses of this medicine. Countless number of ladies are suffering from leucorrhea and its complication like backache and pains in extremities due to osteoporosis and osteopenia. All of them should try this medicine at least once. This medicine is very handy and can be taken in any problem and should be kept in every home.
Belladonna: is another great remedy, a single dose of which is very effective in several cases of pain and heaviness, fullness, swelling, burning, bearing down feeling felt by the patient irrespective any portion of the body, feeling of obstruction of stool and urine, tonsillitis, redness of eyes, ears and face, small nodules inside or outside of neck, frequent urination uncontrollable urge for stool and urine, bleeding from nose due to excess heat, gastric, headache, fever, epileptic attacks on full moon and no moon nights, problems related with deficient blood circulation, feeling of pain any where specially on the right side of the body, insomnia, fearful nightmares including that of dead persons etc.
Bryonia: It is very useful medicine for the cure of several day to day problems such as constipation related symptoms like gastric, acidity, ulcers, piles, headache, sinusitis, cold and dry cough, mild fever, congestion, allergies, swelling and pain at joints, pain on movement any where in the body, loss of appetite, chest pain, gout etc.
Podophylum: This medicine is very useful in case of diarrhoea where the patient has frequent urging to pass watery stools preceding with pain and cramps in the abdomen.
Carbo Vegetablis : Carbo veg. is very useful in the gastric conditions where the patient has fullness and bloating of abdomen along with the burning of chest and throat. This medicine is also very useful in the feeling of sudden darkness and collapse. It is also useful in pains where the patient feels too much heat and asks to be fanned and door and windows to be opened.
Chelidonium: This medicine is strengthens the liver and gall bladder. It can cures jaundice very fast if taken daily for few days. This medicine has also been tried several times for the treatment of Hepatitis-B and has given good results by turning the positive into negative. In cases of gall bladder stones, it may help in removing if they are very tiny stones and in sludge. If the stones are big, it cannot remove them, but it can reduce the problems like gastric and pain immediately and give relief till the patient is operated for the removal of gall bladder. Chelidonium has also cured several cases associated with the weakness of liver. It helps in expelling the renal stones also. However, if it does not work, the patients can go for the surgery etc.
Cina: This medicine is very useful for expelling the worms of several type from the body thereby removing the symptoms associated with them such us indigestion, lack of appetite, urge for stool after food, itching about the ears and nose, itching about anus and frequent urinary infection with itching and burning especially in females, anaemic conditions in children and adults, passing of stool frequently. This medicine works more efficiently if given daily at bedtime for few days in 200th potency.
Arsenic Alb : This medicine is also very useful in cases of stomach upsets, burning sensation in the abdomen, vertigo, weakness after loss of vital fluid from the body, psoriasis, eczema, eruptions and itching and burning of skin, allergies, initial stages of cold where there is lot of watery discharge with sneezing, asthmatic attacks etc. it is very useful in case the patient feels uneasiness and fear. It helps to increase the blood platelets and oxygen level in breathlessness situations.
Chammomilla: This medicine is very useful for pain in the abdomen and other places. When the children and infants cry a lot but cannot explain their problem, this medicine relieves them of all the pains and irritation, immediately.
Calcaria Phos : This medicine has helped a lot of patients suffering from weakness due to calcium deficiency. It is useful in cases like osteoporosis, osteopenia, recurring problem in teeth, general pain and fatigue of the extremities and whole body. Underdevelopment of any part of the body, damage of body cells due to any reasons; it helps in increasing the height of children and teenage group, hastens the growth of strong jaws and teeth in children. It helps in repairing the damage ear drums and hole in the heart.
Ipecac: This remedy is very good for diarrhoea and vomiting. It stops excess menstrual bleeding, lasting for months in many females, especially at the time of menopause.
Kali Phos: Is an excellent remedy for many diseases. It gives soothing effect to the patient in all cases from common cold to cancer. This helps to remove fear, insomnia and depression in the patients of any age. Cramps at any part of the body especially at the calf muscle, can be treated permanently, by just one or two doses at bed time. For mental depression and anxiety, this remedy should be taken in 1-M potency for a week at bed time after that it can be taken in lower potency.
Rhus Tox: This medicine is very useful in pains which are due to the jerks, lifting of heavy loads, in which the nerves, bones and organs shift from there original place and nerves and ligaments are over stretched. For example shifting of solar plexus, prolapsed uterus, prolapsed rectum, shifting of vertebras from there original place causing protrusion, depression, slip disc, backache, spondylosis, backache, sciatica, frozen shoulder, stiff neck, restricted movement of extremities and the whole body etc. The pains calling for Rhus tox are especially when they are felt at the time of getting up in the morning and getting up from the sitting posture. These pains normally subside after walking for some time or after the movement starts. The problems which start after getting wet are also cured by one or two doses of Rhus tox. This remedy is also very useful in chilblains.
Coculus : Coculus is very good remedy for travel sickness like nausea, vomiting and vertigo. Even if the patient is not travelling but these symptoms are present this medicine gives excellent result. A dose of this remedy can be taken before the start of journey and may be repeated if the symptoms occur during the journey.
Calcaria Flourica: Calcaria Flourica is an excellent remedy for the treatment of osteo- arthritis where it dissolves the extra soft bones in different parts of the body like wrist, ankle, knees, vertebras due to which there is very severe pain. It also cures other problems like hardening of certain areas like palms and soles as in the case of corns, it dissolves fibroids, cysts and benign tumours formed at any part of the body and it gives miraculous result in the treatment of varicose veins, in chronic cases the 6x potency should be tried. It helps in curing the dry skin with cracks and bleeding from the cracks.
All the above mentioned medicines have been tried on numerous patients and found effective but the results may vary from person to person. Almost all the remedies give positive results, but if they do not work, do not repeat them because another remedy has to be selected. If the remedy has cured the problem partially, then its repetition can cure the problem. If the patient is under any other medication, those may not be discontinued. Instead, half an hour gap may be maintained in between the two types of medicines.
